South End Plus
South End Plus

2" X 5"

Read all of the way to the end... there's a little secret...

The folks who live on the southern tip of Camano Island take pride in being "South-enders". The south end is, perhaps, more quiet than some parts of Camano Island. In the winter, these hardy folks may need to be self sufficient for a period. At the south end, one is able to see the mainland to the left, Gedney Island at the center, and Whidbey Island to the right.

This little landscape is on a piece of gesso board about 2 inches tall, 5 inches wide and is mounted on a piece of driftwood that is about 8 3/4 inches wide.

Oh... now for the fun part... as for the "Plus" part of the title, while I've painted it with Golden brand acrylics, there is a "secret sauce" that allows the painting to glow in the dark for a short time. Fun, ehh?
