Even the Rocks, 1
Even the Rocks, 1

While visiting the Glacier National Park in British Columbia, Canada, we came across a marvelous rock shop where we purchased two little pieces of rhodonite.
These have been incorporated into my miniature acrylic painting "Even The Rocks, 1" and "Even the Rocks, 2".  Each of these are floated on distressed gesso board which is in a floating frame.  "Even the Rocks, 1" is about 4 inches square and "Even the Rocks, 2" is about 5 inches square.

In this piece, I've attempted to make the rock more of the focal point.  My little  painted tree is intended to be humble and respectful to the art of the stone.

"Even the Rocks, 2" has been adopted.
